Thought to be worth around $3,4 million dollars, Jordan Belfort purchased this home located in one of Long Island’s most affulent neighborhood’s, Old Brookville and the property was later siezed by the federal government and sold in 2001.

The home has five bedrooms and is well equipped for anyone with a party lifestyle having access to a three car garage, gym, large pool and multiple entertaining rooms.

There is only a short distance to the center of Manhattan and the home is situated deep in country-club territory.

Covering 8,700 square feet in total, the home has a large enterance that leads into an open hallway with checked marble floors.

The main kitchen is an entertainers dream with marble-topped island and built-in prep sink, while other features include two dishwashers, a double oven and a wine cooler.

The en-suite bathroom has mahogany furniture and the whirlpool tub is encased in its own mahogany throne.

This 12-cylinder mid engine sports car went into production in 1984 as the successor to the Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer and premiered at the 1984 Paris Motor Show

The car features a 4.9 litre Tipo F113 engine, 5-speed manual transmission and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds.

The top speed of the Testarossa is estimated at 290km/h and the car made numerous appearences in pop culture, most notably in the arcade game outrun.

Other notable owners of the Testarossa include O.J Simpson, Rod Stewart, Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, John Carmack, Dr. Dre and Suge Knight.

Built in 1961, this large luxury yacht was originally owned by Coco Channel and was the yacht of the same name that sank in a storm in 1997 of the coast of Sardinia.

At 165.68 feet, the custom motor yacht offered accomodation for up to 10 guests in five staterooms with teak decks and a steel hull and steel superstructure.

Once described as its own personal sea-base, the yacht had room for a helicopter on the back and included many toys such as jet ski’s and various other watercraft.

The yacht was originally called “Big Eagle”, however Jordan Belfort re-named it after his second wife who was famous for her work in Miller Light commercials.

This is the car that Jordan Belfort famously crashed while high on Methoqualone, his white Lamborghini Countach was manufactured between 1974 and 1990.

The car has a five-speed manual transmission, a 5.2 liter V12 Lamborghini engine and at today’s prices you can pick one up for around $500,000 dollars with the car being extremely collectable.

The top speed comes in at around 170mph and with a 0-60 speed of 5.6 seconds, the car was one of the first to feature the world famous scissor doors, sky facing side windows and at the time was described as almost “space age”.

The bodywork is made of aliminium alloy that is bonded on a lightweight tubular spaceframe chassis and the last car to be made was the 25 anniversary edition in 1990.

Thought to have been the main Jordan Belfort getaway holiday home, this beach house was where he and many of his company pals and bigwigs held massive parties to encourage company procrastination.

The California home has several balconies and a large pool area at the back and was located at 3423 The Strand in Hermosa Beach.

Other features include four bedrooms and five bathrooms, a large spiral staircase that connects to three floors and a great room that overlooks the beach.

Belfort’s helicopter, which you did see in the movie, was mainly used to transfer him to and from his home in New York City, where he famously almost crashed it into his swimming pool while flying drunk.

With a capacity to carry four passengers and a maximum speed of 120 knots, his helicopter had a range of 374 nautical miles.

This type of helicopter has often been used by the military and civilian law enforcement such as the LAPD with over 7,300 built and produced between 1962 and 2017.

Several notable accidents have been involved with this type of helicopter including a helicopter for KNBC Channel 4 and on August 20, 2014 when Guatamala’s Army Chief of Staff was killed in a crash.

Originating from Canada, the design of the seawind was modern for its time and flew for the first time on 23rd August 1982 with production later moving to Kimerton, Pennsylvania, United States.

Powered by a 200 horsepower Lycoming IO-360 engine, the plane has a service ceiling of 18,000 feet and a rate of climb avereging 1250 feet per minute.

Under the nose deck, behind the rear seats and in the tail are three cargo compartments and retractable landing gears are hinged to the side of the hull which folds up into the wing for both flight and water operations.

Another, now classic car once owned by Jordan Belfort, his Jaguar E-Type Convertible featured its 5 litre naturally aspirated petrol V12 engine, was built in 1972 and had a top speed of 217km/h (135mph).

The car has a 0-60mph time of 7.4 seconds, bucket seats and the cars retail value is somewhere in the region of $76,000 but can go up to $115,000 thanks to its collectable features.

The seating configuration in the car allows for only one passenger and a four speed manual transmission is featured with rack and pinion steering.

Belfort’s books have been published in over 40 countries and translated into over 18 launguages with him recently recieving a $500,000 dollar advance from Random House Days before bidding rights begasn for the film named after the first book.

The company that became famous for noth the fil,, the books and Jordan Belfort himself, Stratton Oakmont was founded in 1989 and was based in Long Island, New York.

Over its years in business it was responsible for the initial public offering of 35 companies including Steve Madden LTD, a shoe company that still trades to this day.

Microcap pump and dump schemes were rife within the company and the firm did not have any control functions to verify prices of its positions and monitor trading activity.

The firm became famous for its wild parties that often happened in its office locations and also the spending of its executives outside the workplace.

In 1999 Jordan Belfort pleaded guilty to stock manipulation and securities fraud, helped prosecutors with other company investigations and recieved less prison time as a result.

At its peak, Stratton Oakmont was thought to have been worth around $400 million to half a billion dollars, with that value in today’s money being closer to $1 billion.
